Darkened dreams, I made an interactive novel!

DarkenedDreams

So, the day is finally here when I can say that I have made an interactive novel. It might not be the longest out there, but I am really proud of it.

It might take around 10 minutes to play through. If you want all the endings, it might take a little longer than that.

It is my first try at something like this so if you have any critique and/or comments about Darkened Dreams, feel free to post them in the comments below.

  1. You wrote a book?! How exciting! I just published my book too, a blogging tips book. Mine is not interactive like yours.
Congratulations on being Danny Ray’s featured blogger this week. I was his featured blogger too. Maybe you can check out my blog if you need a blogging tip or two. That’s what I blog about.

    1. I wouldn’t say that it is a book, per se, at least I don’t see it as that. Publishing a book is way different than just putting this on a site.

Thank you, and I’ll make sure to check out your blog as well.

  2. (This is a comment from this woman who posted on a “page” I removed as I redid my menu.)

“Reminds me a lot of the old Goosebumps ‘Choose Your Own Scare’ series of books that I used to read as a kid. And agree with the comment on frustration, since I’m the type that likes to find out all the endings. Hah! Anyway, great effort.”

  3. Having played this interactive novel over and over again I have to admit that I feel a frustration…

Frustration over the feeling of despair that is like a red line through this novel, how to get out… how to survive…

Good job on this piece! You made at lest this reader feel part of the horror the protagonist must feel.
