Vendetta: Curse of Raven’s Cry, the earlier rendition called Raven’s Cry got 1/10 on GameSpot.

So I came across this game, Vendetta: Curse of Raven’s Cry, which is a pirate Action-RPG, and with a mixture of sea battles, pretty graphics and heavy exploration, it seems like a really interesting game.

I also read that an earlier rendition of the game (when it was called Raven’s Cry) got a score as low as 1 from GameSpot, meaning that this game is as bad as Big Rigs… I read the review on GameSpot and while it is for the earlier rendition, complaining about profanity and all that fun things pirates actually do made me wanna try this even more.

Now Vendetta: Curse of Raven’s Cry seems to be a enhanced edition, it is hopefully less buggy.

What do you think?

  1. Ahhh a Pirate game! Yarrrrr!! 😀 Best Pirate game I’ve ever played is the Pirates of the Carribean RPG one by Bethesda. While not really having nearly anything at all to do with the movies, they were fun games, albeit somewhat weird to play… (Also fun to cheat, as they had easily editable files!)

    – Ever played that PoTC game from Bethesda? It’s actually quite good, for a Pirate game. You could sail in real time to different islands, board other ships and take them over, send them on missions, go to cities and through jungles, survive storms in the sea (Which were a bitch, especially if a Hurricane came along!) Also perma-death was a thing in that game, iirc.

Haven’t heard of this one, or seen any news on it. I enjoy Pirate games but since PoTC I haven’t played another because that one had nearly everything I needed! I still have the Disc, somewhere… Will need to find that again one day.

Another good find, but I highly suggest the PoTC game, especially if you like Bethesda! Good luck!
